A creamy, crunchy, peanut butter and chocolate snack that is super simple to whip up. My kids love it. I love that it’s easy and delicious.

  • 9 cups toasted rice cereal
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter 
  • 1/4 cup butter 
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla 
  • 1  1/2  cups powdered sugar 

In a large, microwave safe bowl, combine; chocolate chips, butter and peanut butter. Microwave on high power in 30 second intervals, stirring each time, until melted and creamy. Do not over heat the mixture. Once mixture is melted, combine vanilla, stir to blend. Then add toasted rice cereal. Fold to combine and evenly coat cereal. Next, take 2 gallon sized plastic bags, put 3/4 cups powdered sugar in each plastic bag. Then, add half of the coated cereal to each bag. Close up bags and gently shake to coat cereal evenly with powdered sugar. Lastly, spread the Monkey Munch out on a large sheet of wax paper to allow to cool for 15 minutes. Store Monkey Munch in a gallon size plastic bag in fridge.
