Breakfast Bars

Smooth peanut butter taste, with just the right amount of crunch. These delicious bars are a well loved family recipe that is great for breakfast, dessert, or anytime!

  • Ready in 45 minutes

Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup light corn syrup 
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup white sugar 
  • 4 cups cornflakes 
  • 1 cup nonfat dry milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

In a medium sauce pan, combine sugar and corn syrup. Stir on low heat until sugar melts (careful not to boil). Add in nonfat dry milk and stir until smooth. Add in peanut butter and mix until smooth. Add  salt, stirring to combine. Crush corn flakes and stir in, mixing until well combined. Spread on 9 x 13 buttered pan. Press firmly with buttered hands or spatula, until evenly spread in pan. Cool to let set and then cut.
